Developing Educational Games Across Schools at UW-Madison

Greg Vaughan is a programmer and development lead at Gear Learning, a group within the Wisconsin Center for Education Research within the School of Education. While working with the Gear Learning team he’s developed multiple video games covering fields such as stem cell research, pro-social behavior, implicit bias, and more, all in collaboration with other schools and departments in the UW system. Greg’s current primary projects at Gear Learning include capture and processing of highly detailed gameplay telemetry, and an externally funded project with an extreme focus on accessibility.
