Biography

Weizhong Wang is a software engineer with AIS-Web Platform Services at DoIT. He began his IT career in 1995 as a phone agent at the DoIT Help Desk.

Over the years, Weizhong has contributed to numerous projects in roles such as support liaison, ITSM administrator, and eCommerce software developer. However, his primary focus has been the UW KnowledgeBase.

With a problem-solving mindset, creative thinking, and a strong collaborative spirit, he has helped evolve the KnowledgeBase from a small collection of Help Desk FAQs into an enterprise-level knowledge management system that now serves the entire UW-Madison campus, as well as many of its peer institutions.
