Biography

Kris Olds is a Technology Learning Consultant with Learn@UW, part of Academic Technology. She partners with faculty and staff to make technology more accessible, effective, and human-centered. Her work focuses on helping people navigate complex systems with confidence while improving the overall user experience.

With a background in teaching as well as student and academic services, Kris brings an empathy-driven approach to technology. She has supported large-scale academic technology initiatives, including platforms like Canvas, Honorlock, and GivePulse, always with an emphasis on meeting diverse needs.

Kris has a singular goal: to help. She hopes her work leads to people spending less time fighting tech and more time working toward their goals.
