Biography
Tim Bohn serves as the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer and Assistant Director of Cybersecurity Programs and Business Systems for the UW-Madison campus. Prior to this role, he was the Senior Manager, Identity and Access Management for Foot Locker, Inc.
In this role at UW-Madison, he leads a team that is focused on IT Policy, Security Education, Training and Awareness, Cybersecurity Engineering and Student Information Systems application security.
He also volunteers as the Vice President of Technology for the Project Management Institute, Madison/South Central Wisconsin Chapter. Additionally, he has retired from the US Army Reserve in the rank of Master Sergeant.
He holds a Master of Business Administration with an Information Security concentration from Keller Graduate School of Management. In regards to certifications, he actively holds the (ISC)2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Project Management Professional (PMP) while pursuing the EC Council’s Certified Chief Information Security Officer (C|CISO).
