Biography

Ric Evans is a Research Software Engineer at the Wisconsin IceCube Particle Astrophysics Center at UW-Madison. He has also contributed to the Rubin Observatory’s Alert Broker software. He is a proponent of open-source software and advocates against (re)inventing wheels. An avid reader of Python Enhancement Proposals (PEP), Ric enjoys creating software on the cutting edge.
