Biography

Parker Harding is a member of the Job Rotation Program (JRP) on campus since July of 2024. His first rotation was at the School of Nursing as a Helpdesk Technician. From there, he was at MERIT in the School of Education. His main function during his time there was to complete the school’s Windows 11 Migration Project. Following that, he was at the Center for High Throughput Computing where he was a system administrator, decommissioning and provisioning Linux-based servers for high throughput research computing. His final stop as a part of the JRP is his current rotation, at the School of Medicine and Public Health’s Cybersecurity team, where he performs risk assessments and investigates operational tickets. He has an interest in the fields of cybersecurity and system administration and is in the midst of a job hunt, searching for his permanent role on campus. Outside of work, he spends time with his dog, watches and plays sports, and engages in hobbies he unashamedly describes as “super nerdy”.
