Biography

Mark Rickenbach is the interim vice chancellor for research policy and integrity. In this role he oversees financial and institution conflicts of interest, research security, and export control. He is also the research integrity officer handling allegations of research misconduct and fostering responsible and ethical conduct of research. He is a professor in the Department of Forest & Wildlife Ecology focused on the intersection of policy and practice in forest and related ecosystems. He has served as a department chair and as an associate dean.
