Tom Jordan has been involved in identity and security in Higher Education for more than 15 years. Tom has led initiatives and facilitated teams at UW-Madison, across the UW System and in the Higher Education community to help leverage common infrastructure solutions for application integration. Tom led the development of the reference architecture for Internet2’s TIER (Trust and Identity in Education and Research) iniatiative. Most recently, Tom has been engaged as the primary technical architect in UW-Madison’s rollout of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) as well as an initiative to re-imagine the University’s infrastructure for interoperability between core systems and data.
