Meeting DoIT’s Computing Needs – A Voice Of The Customer Story

During the summer of 2019, Departmental Support embarked on an initiative to revamp the computer options available for DoIT because the existing offerings were not widely adopted by the division, and support was wasting time configuring custom computers. The following presentation will walk you through the problem and the approach that resulted in a high adoption and satisfaction rate of newly established computer options. You will learn about conducting focus groups, working with vendors on options, choosing hardware based on software requirements, showcasing hardware through demonstrations, and more.
