Biography

Jerry’s career started in desktop support while getting his bachelor’s degree in computer science with an emphasis on security technologies. He worked his way up to system administrator and is now an Information Security Analyst for UW-Madison’s School of Medicine and Public Health (SMPH). In his role at SMPH, he applies his experience to improve cybersecurity policy and builds reports that help make informed, practical decisions on cybersecurity objectives. He’s currently studying for his CISSP certification and in his free time he loves to pester his friends into board game nights.
