Biography
Mary is a seasoned professional with over six years of experience in research and healthcare IT. She holds a Master of Library and Information Science and a Master of Science in Educational Leadership and Policy. Additionally, she is two classes away from a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
Mary is currently serving as a Research Cyberinfrastructure Specialist II and service lead for the LabArchives electronic lab notebook at UW Madison. She helps leverage and adopt research cyberinfrastructure (RCI) services and tools to improve the lives of researchers and improve data integrity through training, onboarding, and outreach. Prior to this position, Mary served as a database administrator for the Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Institute.
They excel in digital transformation and cybersecurity, with a proven track record of optimizing workflows and ensuring data security compliance. Actively involved in volunteer initiatives such as the Madison Speedskating Club, Mary brings a diverse skill set encompassing coaching, data management, and quality assurance to her work.
