Ryan Leavitt is a veteran Cybersecurity Engineer at the University of Wisconsin–Madison with two decades of expertise in safeguarding institutional digital assets. Distinguished by a “relationship-first” philosophy, Ryan prioritizes direct, personal interaction over digital correspondence, fostering a collaborative campus culture built on reliability and empathy. Currently specializing in the deployment and management of CyberArk and 1Password, he partners with diverse university units to streamline the onboarding of critical credential management and privileged access solutions, ensuring the university’s most vital systems remain resilient against an evolving threat landscape. In his free time Ryan enjoys riding motorcycles and amateur landscape and urban photography.
