Description:
MFA is a good tool to improve our security, especially where passwords are the only authentication method. MFA needs to be implemented for all our computer systems, not just web sites. Like all security tools, MFA implementations have to maintain a good balance between perfect security and ease of use for the end users, who have real work to do for the University. We’ll discuss our approach and implementation for CS Linux and Windows systems and other services, lessons learned, gaps, and next steps.
