Biography

Brian Davidson has been an Application Administrator working for the School of Medicine and Public Health in Research Informatics since January, 2022. The focus of Brian’s work has included the Clinical Trial Management System (OnCore) and the many systems that integrate with OnCore for clinical research.

Brian received his undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University in Biomedical Engineering, with his first professional position working for Epic Systems Corporation in Technical Services. After working at Epic, Brian transitioned to a position at the UW Carbone Cancer Center working as a Data Coordinator for the Genitourinary POD. Brian worked in this position for a year and a half, and it opened the door for his current position as an Application Administrator.

Brian was recently married (twice!) to his wife Hannah and has enjoyed starting his life with her (their ceremony and then legal marriage were on different dates, so Hannah gets two anniversaries a year). Brian’s main hobbies include spending time with Hannah, playing games with friends, and software development. The things Brian is passionate about are caring for internationals living in Madison, talking with people struggling with mental health, and being a member of his local church Doxa.
